About the Event

TOWER TITANS is an engaging and competitive event organized to challenge students' structural stability and design skills using only wooden blocks. The aim is to build the tallest free-standing tower that can maintain balance without external support. This activity emphasizes structural behavior, center of gravity, and team coordination under pressure.Participants will construct a vertical tower model within a time limit using limited resources. The goal is to maximize height while ensuring stability and balance.

Event Rules

MATERIALS TO BE USED:

·         Non-uniform-sized wooden blocks

·         No adhesives or support materials allowed

·         Flat testing platform

CRITERIA:

·         Only wooden blocks are allowed; no additional support structures.

·         The tower must be free-standing for at least 30 seconds after construction.

·         Time limit: 2–3 minutes for construction.

·         The tower will be measured vertically from base to topmost point.

·         Touching or adjusting after the timer ends will result in disqualification.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

·         Maximum height of stable tower (in cm)

·         Design aesthetics (symmetry, smart use of center of mass

·         Innovative arrangement technique

·         Bonus points for teamwork efficiency

Tower Score = (Height in cm) × Stability Factor
