Meme and Reel Making Competition

Objective:

• Encourage participants to express ideas in a fun, engaging, and original way and spread awareness about a theme, topic, or social issue in a relatable and impactful format.

Themes:

“Tech Explained: Knowledge with a Smile”

Rules:

1.Eligibility:

• Open to all students of RK University.

2.Submission:

• Participants must submit their entries through the dedicated Google Forms, which will be shared after registration.
• Only one submission per participant will be accepted.

3.Meme Guidelines:

• Format: The meme must be submitted in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format.
• Size: The file size should not exceed 5 MB.
• Content: Create memes that break down complex scientific and technological ideas into simple, funny, and relatable content.
• Creativity: Originality and creativity will be key criteria for evaluation. Copying from existing content may result in disqualification.

4.Reel Guidelines:

• Format: Reels must be submitted in MP4 or GIF format.
• Duration: The reel must not exceed 60 seconds.
• Content: Create reels that break down complex scientific and technological ideas into simple, funny, and relatable content.
• Audio and Visual Quality: Ensure the reel has good audio quality and is visually clear.

5.Content Requirements:

• No inappropriate, offensive, or derogatory content will be accepted.
• Ensure that entries do not violate copyright laws or plagiarize content.

6.Evaluation Criteria:

• Creativity (30%)
• Relevance to the Theme (30%)
• Clarity of Message (20%)
• Visual/Aesthetic Appeal (20%)

7.Judging Process:

• Entries will be judged by a panel of experts.
• The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

8.Prizes:

• Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each category (Meme and Reel).
• Winners will be announced on the day of Technoplanet.

9.General Guidelines:

• By submitting an entry, participants grant permission to the organizers to use the content in future promotional campaigns with due credit.
• Ensure that all submitted content adheres to community guidelines and ethical standards.
