About the Event

Bot Specifications: Line Odyssey is an exciting robotics competition where teams design and build an autonomous robot to follow a 25-metre black-line track in the minimum possible time. The track may include straight, curved, and discontinuous lines, testing participants’ robotics, programming, sensor integration, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

The competition consists of two rounds, with the fastest successful run in the Final Round determining the winner. Each team will be given 5 minutes for calibration and testing before the competition.

Event Rules

  • Only the team leader will be allowed to handle the robot during gameplay.
  • The robot will be placed at the starting point with the consent of the referee.
  • Reprogramming the robot or adding/removing parts during the run is not allowed. However, adjusting the sensors is permissible with the consent of the referee.
  • The Race Clock/Run Time will reset to zero on every hand touch.
  • The Competition Clock (maximum access time) will continue running during all hand touches.

Penalty and further rules will be discussed on the day of the event.
