About the Event

Students form teams of three to construct a two-span bridge using clay and straw, adhering to specified dimensions for length, width, and height. Teams must estimate materials, design the structure, and may optionally paint or decorate the dried bridge. Stability and structural integrity are key.

Model Criteria

Students have to make a model with the help of clay and straw. The dimensions like length, width, and height will be provided to the student, and according to that, they must prepare the model. This will help you estimate the amount of clay and straws you will need. Use clay material if you add any kind of additional supports or beams as needed to reinforce the structure. Once the model is fully dried, you can proceed to the optional step of painting or decorating the Model.

Remember to take care during the construction process to ensure the model is stable and able to support its weight.
