About the Event

APIX – API Unlocked by AI 2026 is an exciting hands-on AI and API integration challenge that tests students’ technical knowledge, creativity, problem-solving skills, API integration abilities, and teamwork.

Important for Participants

On the day of the competition, a short API Integration Workshop will be conducted to introduce participants to API fundamentals, API requests and responses, authentication, JSON, API keys, and AI API integration.

The event consists of one exciting challenge round, where participants will receive a real-world problem statement and must design and develop a functional AI-powered solution by integrating 3–4 APIs, including at least one AI-powered API. Teams must identify suitable APIs, integrate them effectively, test their workflow, and build a working prototype within the given time.

Event Rules

  1. Eligibility: Open to Computer Science, IT, AI/ML, and related engineering students.
  2. Individual Participation: Each individual must complete the challenge within the given time.
  3. API Integration: Each team must integrate a minimum of 3 APIs and a maximum of 4 APIs, including at least one AI-powered API.
  4. Own Laptop: Participants may bring and use their own laptop/ethernet cable/system for development.
  5. Original Work: Solutions must be developed during the event. Pre-developed complete projects or solutions are not permitted.
